If you are having any issues opening our bottles please try the following steps.
Please NEVER use a sharp knife.
1. Run the bottle-cap under hot water, this helps the aluminum warm up.
2. Hold the bottle with your non-dominate hand, and the cap with your dominate hand with your pointer finger and thumb around the top.
3. Twist your hands in opposite directions, this should crack the seal.
If the seal is not cracking, our recommendation is to run a butter knife, not a sharp one, but a butter knife around where the perforation is to encourage the perf and then it usually twists off well after that.
There are a couple of products on the market to help open twist-offs, and they are in the $10-$20 range If you search for “Wine screw-cap openers” you will find what is available. They all seem to offer a
grippy surface, and some provide torque to help with the twisting motion.
