Dr. John Brewer received BS degree from Kansas State University, and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Arkansas.  He spent twenty years building high tech companies in integrated circuits, solar energy, and super conductivity with Mostech in TX, CO, OK, and PA. Dr. Brewer took his high tech education and experience and combined them into the wine industry.  He founded Wyldewood Cellars Winery in 1995, with Merry and Beth, to make the family farm more profitable. Dr. Brewer was the first Professional International Wine Judge in Kansas nineteen years ago. Today you can find Dr. John at the winery giving tasting classes and continuing to grow Wyldewood’s line of wines.

Beth Brewer is one of the co-founders of Wyldewood Cellars Winery along with her husband, Dr. John, and her sister-in-law, Merry. She is the mother of three as well as grandmother of three. Prior to Wyldewood, Beth taught elementary school in AR, CO, and PA. At Wyldewood Beth manages our retail outlets in Kansas, and makes sure they are stocked with more than just wine. Beth is also in charge of our banquet facilities; she schedules and oversees Weddings, Business Meetings, Parties, Private Tastings, and Wine Education Classes. Beth's favorite Wyldewood wines are our Traminette and Elderberry Dry Reserve.

Merry (Brewer) Bauman is Senior V.P. of Sales and co-founder of Wyldewood Cellars. The oldest of five children - including Dr. John Brewer - she grew up on their parents quarter horse and cattle ranch East of Leon, Kansas.  A military wife for many years, she has spent most of her life in Kansas. Merry is the voice of our radio and television commercials, and in charge of our wholesale sales of non-alcoholic products. Prior to starting the winery, Merry was a buyer for Boeing. She is happily married; mother, grand and great-grand mother. Her hobbies include shooting, reading, cooking, and enjoying time with her family.

Shawn is our brew-master and an international wine judge.

Sara is the Outside Sales Representative for Wyldewood Cellars Winery. She has been with Wyldewood for just over one year, and does most of the liquor store tastings within the state of Kansas. Sara was previously a nurse, and is a wife, mother of 2 and will soon be a grandmother.

Cassie has been the Graphic Designer at Wyldewood Cellars since June 2015. Cassie is a Kansas native, and grew up in Hutchinson. She graduated Fort Hays State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with an Emphasis in Conceptual Graphic Design. After college she worked at a non-profit at Fort Hays, and spent 2 years in East Asia. When she's not at work, Cassie likes to practice martial arts and is currently an orange belt in Okinawan Karate, as well as a white belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Cassie believes that whatever her hands and mind finds to do, she must strive to do it with all her might.

Christine is the Social Media Manager for Wyldewood Cellars Winery. Born in Washington, Christine has been creative her entire life. In the early 2000’s, she moved to Denver and studied at the Art Institute of Colorado where she majored in Graphic Design. Christine moved to Kansas in 2010, to live with her now husband. With more than 16 years in print production, Christine was the manager of the Wichita State University print shop before leaving the print industry. Before starting at Wyldewood Christine already spent too much time on her phone, so managing the digital face of the Winery is second nature. She enjoys quilting and reading in her spare time.

Patti is the chef at Wyldewood Cellars Winery and maker of all the delicious jams, jellies, and syrups; she also works the retail sales at our Peck, KS, location. She has been at Wyldewood for almost 10 years, and worked at Boeing before joining us. Patti is a mother and grandmother, and is also cousin to Dr. John and Merry.

Garrison is in charge of the Shipping at Wyldewood Cellars Winery. He has trained in Karate, and teaches across the parking lot at Okinawan Karate. Garrison is part of the Wyldewood family in more than one way, Merry is his step-mother.

Jess has just joined the Wyldewood Cellars family, she helps keep the place nice and tidy. Jess also helps Beth set up our venue rooms for any and all events we have on site.

Erin works at the Winery and covers at Maple and Ridge. She's a great help to Patti in the kitchen, and helps at all our big events to make sure that they go on without any issue.

Cindy keeps our Wyldewood Cellars Maple and Ridge location up and running. She's been with Wyldewood Cellars for many years.
